James is the principal and founder of Spectrum Investment Advisors.

He is a graduate of UW Oshkosh with a degree in Economics and has over 30 years experience in the pension investment business. James has taught investment classes at the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking.

James holds the FINRA Series 6 Investment Company Products/Variable Contracts Limited Representative, NASAA Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law, NASAA Series 65 Uniform Investment Adviser Law, FINRA Series 22 Direct Participation Programs Limited Representative (held at LPL Financial) and Wisconsin and Illinois Life Insurance licenses and is a member of both ASPPA and Wisconsin Retirement Plan Professionals Ltd.
