Manuel is a principal and vice president of Spectrum Investment Advisors. He is the lead business development advisor and focuses on assisting plan sponsors in meeting their ERISA fiduciary responsibilities through plan and investment reviews, employee educational meetings and one-on-one investment consultations. Manuel has been in the retirement plan industry since 1998 and holds the Investment Adviser Representative license (Series 65) and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF® Designation) from the Center for Fiduciary Studies certifying that he has specialized knowledge of fiduciary standards of care and their application to the investment management process. Manuel serves as President of the Wisconsin Retirement Plan Professional Ltd. Association (WRPPL). He has been a panelist for PlanAdviser National Conference and PlanSponsor National Conference on topics ranging from plan sponsor fiduciary needs, participant education vs. advice and investment diversification. He is also a speaker at the WICPA (Wisconsin Institute of CPA) Annual Retirement Plan Seminar. Manuel earned a degree in Business Administration from Taylor University and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the university. He also earned an MBA degree in Finance from Concordia University-Wisconsin. A native of Puerto Rico, Manuel is fluent in Spanish.
