Key Responsibilities

Including but not limited to:

• Manage team of Financial Education Advisors including coordinating schedules and lead team training

• Create education materials such as presentations, participant newsletters, webinars, videos, and social media content to promote retirement plan participation and financial wellness

• Develop and maintain a library of financial education resources, tools, and support materials under Spectrum’s GuideSteps Financial Wellness program

• Lead the quarterly preparation and delivery of our GuideSteps Financial Wellness educational webinars

• Implement and execute educational strategies by providing actionable steps through group workshops and individual 1-on-1 advice

• Manage key data points and metrics to measure participant success, including tracking participation in retirement plan and financial wellness programs; establishing and maintaining a variety of reports, files, and records; preparing periodic and special reports

• Work alongside Relationship Managers on larger clients for customized educational and financial wellness delivery

• Collaborate across the firm to identify opportunities for continued asset growth, revenue expansion and client retention

• Participate in the delivery of educational meetings, including some travel as necessary

• Keep abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure the information provided is accurate and current

Skills / Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

• 5+ years of experience working with employer-sponsored retirement plans with experience in financial counseling, financial education, or personal financial management services

• Strong understanding of fiduciary standards, investment principles, and retirement plan regulations

• FINRA Series 65 (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office & Adobe software

Preferred:

• Professional designations relating to the 401(k) plan industry preferred

• Experience leading client meetings and presenting to plan committees

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
